• Advertising physical channel PDU 的使用場景：

  • Advertising Physical Channel

• Advertising physical channel PDU 分為三種：

  • Advertising PDU
  • Scanning PDU
  • Initiating PDU

• Advertising physical channel PDU 由兩個部分組成：

  • Header (固定長度 ，16 bits)
  • Payload (可變長度，1~255 octets)

• PDU Type： PDU 的類型，後續章節會陸續介紹
• RFU：Reserved for Future Use，目前都先設為 0，Rx 可以先忽略他
• ChSel：這個 bit 用來說明是否支援 Channel Selection Algorithm #2 (CSA#2)，1 表示支援
• TxAdd：這個 bit 是 Tx 的 Address Type，0 表示 Public，1 表示 Random
• RxAdd：這個 bit 是 Rx 的 Address Type，0 表示 Public，1 表示 Random
• Length：表示 Payload 的長度，8 bit 可以表示 1~255 ，單位為 octet </aside>

廣播實體通道 PDU 類型 - Advertising physical channel PDU Type

• 截至 BLE v6.1，共支援 18 種 PDU Types：
  • 11 種 Advertising PDUs
  • 4 種 Scanning PDUs
  • 3 種 Initiating PDUs
• Physical Channel 又分為三種：
  • Primary：即 37~39，不支援 2M，少部分支援 Coded，用來做最基本的廣播、掃描、連線
  • Secondary：0~36，支援任何 PHY，用來傳輸 AUX PDUs，傳輸量較大
  • Periodic：0~36，支援任何 PHY，用來做週期性廣播
• 有些 PDU 中會有一個 pointer 指向另一個 PDU，這兩者的關係稱作 superior / auxiliary PDU
  • 每個 PDU 至多只能有一個 auxiliary PDU，但可以有多個 superior PDUs
  • 這種關係會形成一個 out degree 為 1 的 DAG (有向無環圖)，或一個反過來的 tree
  • 一個封包的 subordinate set 指的是他的 aux 封包與他的 aux 封包的 subordinate set </aside>
